ImageResizer.tech is a small, independent project built around one idea: image tools should hit the exact target you need — a file size in KB, a dimension in pixels, or a physical size in centimetres — without making you upload anything, create an account, or guess with a quality slider.

Why it runs in your browser

Every resize on this site happens locally on your own device, using your browser's built-in Canvas API. Nothing is transmitted to a server. This started as a privacy decision — people resize passport photos, ID documents, and application pictures, and that material shouldn't sit on a stranger's server — but it turned out to be faster too: there's no upload queue, no waiting, and no file-size cap beyond what your device can handle.

What the tool does

• Target KB mode — type the exact file size a form demands (20KB, 50KB, 100KB…) and the tool searches for the best quality that fits under it.
• Pixels mode — exact width and height, with an aspect-ratio lock so photos don't get stretched.
• Print size mode — dimensions in cm with a DPI setting, for passport photos and print work.
• Bulk support — drop many images at once and download everything as a ZIP.

How the site is funded

The tool is free with no caps and no accounts. The site may display advertising to cover its costs; ads never affect what the tool does with your images, because your images never reach us in the first place.
